So, you've found the perfect photographer, booked a session, put together the perfect outfit(s), but you're not sure what you're going to do with your hair and makeup. 

If you're anything like me, hair and makeup may not be your forte. 

I found myself in this situation back in February when I booked a session with the fabulous, Amber Phinisee. (You can view my full session  here.) I had the vision of what I wanted, the outfits were picked out, but I didn't feel confident in my hair and makeup skills. 

Luckily, I saw some work from a fantastic hair & makeup artist on facebook, Intensify By Patience. It was a no brainier. I hired Patience to work her magic brushes on me before my photo shoot and I looked amazing!

 Ladies, I'm telling you, the best thing you can do to rock your photo session is to hire a hair and makeup artist, but not just any artist. Don't hire the cheapest, your friend, or get a family member to do it for free.
